Arrol has been designed to embrace all seasons within a rural setting, combining extensive glass and contemporary interiors with spacious, luxurious living.

HALLWAY

A spacious hallway that welcomes you home with a glass banister and viewing gallery for the dark starry skies.

The first introduction to the house is expansive and open plan with large Velux windows in the viewing gallery.

Enjoy watching the Hebridean airplanes landing in the distance while the Canadian geese are taking off.

At night, gaze at the infamous Hebridean dark skies with a glass of Prosecco from our ‘Welcome Home’ gift box.

SITTING ROOM

The perfect space with ever-changing views and the flickering flames from our log burning stove.

Bringing the outside in and the inside out, stretch out and relax while enjoying the views and the spectacular sun sets through the floor to ceiling windows.

Even the angels enjoy this space from the exposed roof beams – you will know what we mean when you get there!

Lambs play on the rocks in the Spring and, with the patio doors opened wide in the Summer, you can hear nature from every corner.

The Autumn and Winter months bring with them snug times in front of the log burning stove while watching varying weather patterns and entertaining wildlife.

KITCHEN/DINING/SNUG

A highly equipped, extensive space for the culinarily skilled to enjoy new creations.

An open plan space perfect to relax, cook and enjoy a bottle of wine with friends and family.

Patio doors lead out to a decking area and expansive landscape with an array of birds, hares, and the resident sheep and cows.

Leading off the kitchen is a large utility room with freezer, wine cooler (the most important part of the house) and washing machine.

At the back is a further utility room perfect for drying clothes, dogs, and children.

STUDY

A room for work calls, email sending, song writing, or film viewing.

The Study is in the quietest part of the house with a desk and Apple Mac computer for those that need to catch up on emails and work calls.

More importantly a space for the younger generation to escape, lie on FatBoy bean bags and watch films from our library of over 250 DVDs (collections for the young and old!

BEDROOMS

As the stars shine above fall asleep to the sound of nature and wake up to the sunrise.

Each of our spacious super and king size rooms, have incredible views of the islands through each of the Velux windows. The interiors are considered and luxurious. Our beds are made up with white 200 thread count, 100% cotton bed linen and our bedspreads from our Scandinavian travels and SoHo Home.

Our two twin rooms are found on the ground floor, at the quieter end of the house, with three large windows in each. The beds are made up white 200 thread count, 100% cotton bed linen, Harris Tweed pillows and Croft bedspreads.

GAMES ROOM

Enjoyed by the young and old, the winners and losers, spectators, and creators.

Come rain, hail, or shine the Games Room is where the ones you didn’t think were competitive bring out their true nature.

From rallies around the full-size table tennis and a quick game of Pool to completing jigsaws and falling out over who kicked the Foosball table to allow the ball to go in. It all happens here.

The Games Room also has a 42-inch tv with Sky and Sky Sports so folks can sneak off and watch the rugby while no one is looking and has a cupboard full of jigsaws, toys and games.

The room has plenty of space for musicians and artists and is also an ideal workshop space for retreats, creative workshops, and corporate planning sessions.
